What is TPO (Temporarily Passed Over)

Kerala Public Service Commissionനുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഒരുപാട് സംശയങ്ങൾ ഉദ്യോഗാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകും. അവയെ സംബന്ധിക്കുന്ന വിവരങ്ങളാണ് ഈ പംക്തിയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. തുടക്കക്കാരായ അപേക്ഷകർക്ക് KPSC യെ അറിയാൻ ഇത് ഉപകരിക്കും 

50% മെറിറ്റ് 50% സംവരണം എന്നതാണ് പി.എസ്.സി നിയമനങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാന തത്വം. കെ.എസ് ആൻഡ് എസ്.എസ്.ആറിലെ 14 മുതൽ 17 വരെയുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇത് പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നത്. നിയമനശുപാർശ ചെയ്തുവരുന്ന അവസരത്തിൽ സംവരണത്തിന്റെ തോത് 50 ശതമാനത്തിൽ കവിയാതിരിക്കാൻ ചിലപ്പോൾ സംവരണ ഊഴങ്ങൾ താത്കാലികമായി മാറ്റി വയ്‌ക്കേണ്ടി വരും. ഇപ്രകാരം സംവരണ ഊഴങ്ങളെ താത്കാലികമായി മാറ്റിവയ്‌ക്കുന്നതിനെയാണ് ടി.പി.ഒ എന്ന് പറയുന്നത്.
During a selection year (the date on which the Ranked List of candidates comes into force to the date on which it expires) the reservation turns should not exceed 50% of the total vacancies.While observing the 50% rule it may become necessary to pass over certain reservation turns and to fill up the subsequent OC turns.Such passing over the turn is only temporary and hence referred to as Temporarily Passed over
