പഠനമെന്ന ആശയം 
# പഠനം സജീവമായ ഒരു പ്രക്രിയയാണ്. ഒരു ഉത്പന്നം അല്ല.
# പഠനത്തിലൂടെ വ്യവഹാരങ്ങൾ രൂപപ്പെടുകയോ മാറ്റത്തിന് വിധേയമാവുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
# അനുഭവങ്ങളോ പരിശീലനങ്ങളോ ആണ് പഠനം മൂലമുള്ള വ്യവഹാര പരിവർത്തനങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നത്.
# പൂർവ്വാനുഭവങ്ങളുടെ കേവലമായ തുകയല്ല പഠനം. അതിൽ ക്രിയാത്മകതയുണ്ട്. അറിവുകളുടെയും അനുഭവങ്ങളുടെയും സൃഷ്ടിപരമായ വ്യാഖ്യാനവും സംശ്ലേഷണവും അതിൽ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.
# വ്യവഹാരത്തിലെ സ്ഥിരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾക്ക് പഠനം കാരണമാകുന്നു.
# സംയോജനത്തിനും അനുകൂലനത്തിനും പഠനം വ്യക്തിയെ സഹായിക്കുന്നു.
# നിലവിലെ വ്യവഹാരത്തിന്റെ തുടർച്ച നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നതിനോ അത് നിന്ന് പോകുന്നതിനോ പഠനം കാരണമാവാം.
# ലക്ഷ്യാധിഷ്ഠിതമാണ് പഠനം.
# വൈകാരിക, വൈജ്ഞാനിക, മാനസിക മേഖലകളിലെ മാറ്റങ്ങളെല്ലാം പഠനത്തിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.
# ജനനം മുതൽ മരണം വരെ അനുസ്യുതമായി നടക്കുന്ന ഒന്നാണ് പഠനം.
