Some and Any
Some and any are two words used to express quantity. These two words are used with uncountable and plural nouns. 'Some' is usually used in affirmative sentences and 'Any' is in negative or interrogative ones.
Some Examples
1. Please give me some ink.
2. I need some pictures of animals.
3. Please give me my keys.
4. Have you any sugar?
5. There isn't any sugar in the house.
6. Is there any milk here?
