Scheme Launched In :- 1997
This scheme will cover girl children families below the poverty line (BPL) as defined by the Government of India in both rural and urban areas in all districts in India, who are bone on or after 15th August 1997.

The objective of this schemes are
1. To change negative family and community attitudes towards the girl child at birth and towards her mother.
2. To improve enrollment and retention of girl children in schools.
3. To raise the age at marriage of girls.
4. To assist the girl to undertake income generating activities.

Under this scheme the girl children can receive
1. A post birth grant amount of Rs.500/-
2. When the girl child cover under BSY starts attending the school. She become to eligible for annual scholarships for education according to class.


A] Class 1 to 3 get an amount of Rs.300/Annum
B] Class 4 gets an amount of Rs.500/Annum
C] Class 5 gets an amount of Rs.600/Annum
D] Class 6 and 7 get an amount of Rs.700/Annum
E] Class 8 gets an amount of Rs.800/Annum



F] Class 9 and 10 get an amount of Rs.1000/Annum
