LDC Qualification SSLC Only :)

The government has finally reverted the eligibility criteria for the post of Lower Division Clerk(LDC) back to SSLC from the revised requirement of +2. The government issued the order in this regard the other day following the undue delay in formulating the special rules as required by the revised eligibility for the post.
On June 1,2011 the General Administration Department had revised the eligibility for the Secratariat Assistant, LDC and Last Grade Servants posts. But the delay in amending the special rules as required by the revised eligibility had been forcing the PSC to go by prevailing eligibility critiria while issueing notification for requirement to these posts.
Earlier, the candidates was requires to pass just SSLC to apply for LDC posts. Under the revised eligibility norms, a candidate should have passed +2 to apply.
The issue came to the PSC's notice only when it decided to notification for LDC posts. The PSC wrote to the government on this account and sought its opinion.
Upon which the government issued the order on July 23, stating that SSLC would be enough to apply for LDC posts, reverting its earlier revision.

  1. I have submitted my application for KERALA PSC LDC 2013 with IDUKKI as my home district. I have chosen ERANAKULAM as my Examination Center district. Can you please tell me which will be the date of my test. That is, will it be January 4th of ERANAKULAM district OR February 22nd of IDUKKI district?
    Thank You.
